I made this from a pattern that I used 20 years ago to make a quilt similar to this for my grandchildren.
Needless to say it is a Timeless Treasure to them. They still have theirs and plan to use it for the next generation.
This Hippo Quilt is made from quilting fabric and applique’s are topped stitched.
The edge has been machine stitched, and it has been machine quilted on top.
The Hippo is a very light baby blue color, holding a yellow sunflower with a brown center.
It measures across 36 inches at widest point.
From top to bottom it measures 49 1/2 inches from tallest point.
It will be beautiful displayed on a crib, across a Toddler bed, or even used as a wall hanger.
Needless to say it is also perfect to cover baby with!
Wash in cool water on gentle cycle, and dry at very low heat to keep this quilt useful for many years or generations to come.
This would make a one of kind baby shower gift also!! But hurry this is one of a Kind!
